Follow @ed_apps One of my favourite apps to sit down with and learn is Qwiki. Qwiki must have millions of ‘articles’ that are actually interactive videos. Using the simple english from wikipedia and a series of photos and videos from wikimedia, Qwiki generates videos that you can watch, pause, interact with, and explore new learnings. Follow @ed_apps iPocketTools HD has 11 tools/utilities built in, which makes it great for any math or science classroom. Tools include: Alarm talking clock, Caliper, Clinometer, Decibel meter, Flashlight, Metal Detector, Plumb Bob, Protractor, Ruler, Voice battery tool, Voice Compass. It is pretty simple to use and the ruler and calipers are certainly nice to have for a measurement unit. A class set of calipers, even cheap plastic ones, would cost more than $.99.
